I am creating a video on how to create an APA style bibliography for websites and books and it is very important you know how to do this because it will be in the most of the work you do and you will use it through university. You will need to know how to create a bibliography for history assignments. Tell me if this is a useful video?

My response to the game on video is that with the site for cool ringtones you could get viruses on your phone. Someone put horrible pictures of her friend on her page and it wasn’t her so she must have given someone her password and they would have done that and you shouldn’t even tell your friends your password. You shouldn’t spend all day playing games when you have other tasks like chores and homework. Games harm your eyes and if you get too addicted you won’t be able to get off the game and you won’t be able to sleep then you get grumpy because you get tired and you will be very tired in school. Games can take over your life if you play them too much. If someone puts bad pictures of your friend on your page when it wasn’t you you should tell your parents straight away and they will try and help you find out who did it. If someone gets hold of your password they can pretend to be you so you should be very careful about that. You shouldn’t send photos or message someone you don’t know and make friends online until you see them face to face.  Cyber safety is being smart on the internet  think about things like not giving your phone number or password to people you don’t know and know that free offers on the internet are never free. You shouldn’t send photos or anything to people you don’t know. If you post something online it is out there forever and people can change it. If you send things you didn’t want people to know they could find out everything about you. It is okay to play some games but you have to do other tasks like chores, work and play outdoors. It is ok to use technology but you just have to be smart with it.

Below are some netiquette rules I will use on my blog.

• Don’t type mean things in capital letters because that is shouting mean things
• Never plagiarize because someone spent a long time writing a good post and you can’t just take it and if you do a similar post to someone else put their name on the side to give them the credit
• Don’t gossip and keep personal information personal because you might have shared something you didn’t want other people to see
• Watch your language
• Be patient with people who are new to the internet and know that they were learning just like you did before
• No spamming because people don’t want useless things and it is just annoying
• Make yourself a good person online so they will follow you and read your blog posts they could also send nice comments to you
• Remember there is a person behind the screen so don’t annoy them

 

Computers are really fun and entertaining and they help you a lot although there some advantages and disadvantages of computer use.

Advantages of Computer Use

The advantages of computer use are that with computers you can entertain yourself a lot with things like Skype, Facebook and many other things and you can also download games and play games on the internet and have a lot of fun and you can also find out anything you want on the internet in less than two minutes and of wasting time looking at books for hours and you can learn how to do stuff and watch anything you want on YouTube. You can easily make brochures using publisher and type anything you want getting your hand sore and handwriting stuff you can use things like Photoshop to do anything you want. You have computers everywhere. You can buy stuff online and it is much cheaper. With computers you can communicate with anyone using Facebook, skype and much more stuff.

Disadvantages of computer use

The disadvantages of computer use are that with computers you can get addicted with games when you have work to do you would to do you wouldn’t be able to get off your computer because it is to addicting you could play games all night and you wouldn’t be able to sleep. You can be cyber bullied on computers by people harassing you. You can also get alienated with computer use like everyone is on Facebook and you don’t have an account you can feel alienated.
